We are rewind KURT portable cassette player
I finally ordered one from Inner Ocean Records! I collect cassettes and have a small collection of cassette players–nothing fancy, but I love them! Cassettes hold wholesome memories for me, untouched by the crappy parts of my life, and I love the sound.
Obviously, it’s amazing to hear music with high quality headphones, and technology keeps enhancing the listening experience. But sometimes it’s overwhelming, and all I want is the tinny comfort of my cheap cassette player warbling out of its built-in speaker. It lets me be more present.
I like the cross section the We Are Rewind player sits at. You get the convenience of Bluetooth with a little better quality, but it’s still a cassette player. I’m not an audiophile, “just” a musician; nonetheless, I’m really looking forward to hearing what it’s like.

people love to say “you’re too old for stuffed animals” but thats just not true. you’re never too old. both my grandmas and my step-grandma all have/had stuffed animals in their house. my great grandma lived to be (almost) 102 and SHE still had stuffed animals. dont let people convince you otherwise, especially if they bring you joy.

Oh my gosh I miss these so much! I used to buy the roll-on glitter in the type of container that’s on the far right. I would cover myself in it regularly. I miss not being as scent-sensitive as I am now. ;-;
